John M. Brown lives in West Hartford with his wife and two sons and has been practicing law since January of 2002. 

Attorney Brown has assisted consumers in matters ranging from loan workouts and foreclosure actions to residential closings and leases.  Attorney Brown has extensive experience in assisting consumers and companies on employment law matters.  Attorney Brown has advised and assisted multi-billion dollar insurance and financial service companies, as well as smaller scale telecommunications, construction, and aerospace contractors.  Attorney Brown has additionally assisted several Connecticut and Massachusetts based labor unions on contract negotiations, grievances and arbitrations, collection of ERISA funds contributions, and unfair and prohibited labor practice charges. 

Attorney Brown's Pro Bono work has included assisting clients with landlord/tenant issues as well as federal income tax and bankruptcy matters. 

Prior to engaging in the practice of law, Attorney Brown spent seven years in the financial services and insurance industry.
